Around the Network

Best: Xenoblade (wii) Lost odyssey (360)

Worst: FFXIII (PS360) FFXIII-2 (PS3)

Overrated: Both FFIII games.. they don't deserve over 50 meta

Underrated: Xenoblade and Lost Odyssey

hehe looks likte best and underrated go hand in hand and vice versa for me

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Goodness, this thread shows how few JRPGs people have played......

The sight of FF13 or WKC in worst is hysterical. I'm not sure how FF13 can be overrated since everyone on the internet hates it.

FFXIII is overrated. Despite the general distaste for the game by the gaming public, it was well reviewed.

I don't see it. FF13 got 82% overall and XIII-2 got 79% (despite reviewers claiming it's better than the first).

It's not distaste from the gaming public, because it's still very popular. Every hates on it while on the internet because it's the cool thing to do.

XIII really  deserves BOTH the under and the over-rated position. Had a horrible beginning, hilariously uninspired level design, hand-holding gameplay, and a lackluster finish...and then smack dab in the middle it has fun gameplay, a really quite touching second act, and some exceptionally subtle character moments...which you really had to watch for after that first act beat any eye for subtlety out of you.

If you can't tell, I liked XIII. I just wouldn't voluntarily replay it.

How do you rate a game that does a few things phenomenally and as many things (if not more) terribly? The middle rating the game deserves doesn't fully convey the game's strengths. It literally breaks the rating system. I believe the online reviewer Sage said it best: "It's not bad or even mediocre, but it is disappointing."
