If it works like WiiU gamepad, then Vita/PS4 owners will like the option. But I don't think it will match up as the full design.

More interesting would be if they move this feature away from local wifi and instead make it a feature that can be done over internet so a Vita away from home on some random wifi could access their game at home. That would be a very nice extension of your home console.

it can, and it will.

I'm jealous, where did you get to use it with the PS4 and which games?

Dude, it works over the internet with the ps3, what make you think the ps4 wont?

Good. If someone wants to hog the TV, I can just remote play on my vita.

Vita currently will play a PS3 game running on your PS3 via streaming over the internet when your not on your home wifi?

PS1 games and ps3 games that support the vita streaming feature. yes. I've also turned on my ps3 that’s located in Oklahoma while i was in Israel. It does work and will only get better with ps4.

I thought I thoroughly informed everyone on this site about that, lol. The PS Store used to work before they updated it, but with the web based store that's not a big deal. There are some interaction with routers that can make this feature impossible for some, but that will be solved. I've played Lair, God of War II, Tokyo Jungle, and FF V, and FF VIII. It is pretty cool to be able to hook up anywhere and play the game is your disk drive or digital download.

So along with non-move games working, I expect the entirety of the PS4's OS/content to work with remote play. Even the live streaming and video chat, but we will have to wait and see.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Not only that, but Dave Perry said that they want to bring the whole playstation library to cloud. If the ps4 can stream in ps1, ps2 AND ps3 games, why cant the vita? I mean i tried darksiders through Onlive with my galaxy s2. The controllers sucked, but it was playable. That was a year ago.

The whole PS library coming to Vita, is freaking awesome, and kinda far fetched i admitt. Which is why i think people are not comprehending the full meaning of this news. I don't want to get my hopes to high or invite some of the trolls in here to challenge my claims, because i don't have any.

But think about this. If Gaikai takes off, and vita is the ultimate benefactor, why stop with playstation games. why not put some PC games (that could work withing the vita controller limitations) at the highest settings.

So the vita now has, vita native games, ps4 games, ps1, ps2, ps3, pc, and everything worth while from ios. Yes i know, this is really far fetch but i have been thinking and this must be sony's plan or at least should be ;)

thoughts?

The only thing useful I got from this is the "bundled PSeye"

And of course it won't be nearly as big of a deal as bundled kinect right ?

As long as they don't mandate games use the camera, its fine.
As long as the console works without it, its fine.

Great news if true more developers supporting it, the more games we get using it.
