This would be the perfect format to use for something like a next gen Wing Commander or even a Babylon 5 type show. Imagine playing a Babylon 5 game with live cutscenes where you play it one way and by the end of the series you defeat the Shadows or another way and it shows Babylon 5 being destroyed by them.
