are indie games (or at least games I'd call indie) I enjoyed the most in recent years.

Flower is not only my favorite one of those, it also became one of my most favorite games ever.

There are also a few famous ones I played that weren't really for me (Limbo, Braid, Castle Crashers, Bastion, Unfinished Swan, Dear Esther, The Cave, Superbrothers)

and a ton I've never played (Minecraft, Cave Story, The Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy, Amnesia, Torchlight, Terraria, FTL, The Sea Will Claim Everything, The Legend of Grimrock,..).

You must. I mean, I dislike strategy games overall, but that game is fairly impressive. It makes you feel like goddamn Captain Kirk, and every single playthrough is different than the previously (except for the final boss). There's also the permadeath thing, which is kind of awesome. If you screw up, you screw up.

AudioSurf is one of my favorite games ever. I still play it when I get new music. Torchlight is an awesome series, if that counts. I played the heck out of Torchlight 2. Machinarium is excellent, such a great atmosphere.

To the Moon is a game that I want to play.

I can't remember anything else and I don't want to open Steam up unless I have to.

@Wright: It's funny that you mention FTL out of all those games I listed. Along with "The Sea Will Claim Everything" (which seems to be a pretty unique graphic adventure game) FTL is actually the only one from my "not played list" which I will eventually play sooner or later. I have it already on my gog,com wishlist.

I have a new one since last week; Eador: Masters of the Broken World, have over 40 hours in it so far. I also bought "Unepic" from GOG a couple of days ago, a real gem!

Honorable mention goes to Bastion (which has the best soundtrack of any game I ever played btw), Terraria and Zafehouse Diaries.

and bastion is amazing. i didnt finish it because my PC i was playing it on needed formating. ill have to restart it.
