No, this is just your opinion (and of course others are and are not sharing it).
And please about your opinion on MS... You are very well known for constantly bashing any MS threads on these forums :)

Stay on topic.

It's not my opinion, how is limitng used games not anti-consumer? Please explain.

Do not tell me to stay on topic :) The conversation is offtopic for a while now.
Don't worry, I'm done with it anyway, we need to go back on topic and I'm tired of arguing with you.

Microsoft is right in my mind. Gamers will buy it eventually and it is not arrogant in any way.

Yeah, that's the problem. In your mind. You fail to admit that Microsoft is making mistakes and that consumers will suffer for it. Try to set aside your preferences and look at this like you're getting a console for the first time.

PS4 = Doesn't limit used games in any way
Wii U = Doesnt' limit used games in any way
Xbox One = Limits Used Games

Which one would you pick if you bought used games and had no preferences? Why?

No, I do not think it is a problem :)

Linux support was a niche feature that almost no one used. Comparing that to used games limitations is like night and day. You do have a point though, both are anti-consumer. Removing b/c from the Slim models isn't anti-consumer though. If it is then I guess Nintendo is also screwing over consumers by removing Gamecube support from the Wii mini?

@bold
Actualy they're not. They keep saying something then going back saying something else in a different interview.

Doesn't matter if it's niche feature, it was still a feature and it was still removed, the consumer lost something, regardless if they used it or not. (I personally used it!)

As for removing the backwards compatability, it is anti-consumer.
The playstation 3 was advertised to be compatible with playstation 2 games, then Sony removed that functionality, some people may have bought into the PS3 after Sony made those changes and got gipped.

The moral of the story though, is that all companies are more than happy to take something away from gamers at any time for what-ever reason.
Now if only we can talk them into taking DRM away and keeping it away forever! :P

I will buy anything now they are right in a sense, they have convinced me to buy a WiiU instead of an X1.

They seem to be more worried about apple than sony. M$ needs a top down shake up so bad, especially the ceo that looks like frankenberry needs to go.

they said gamers not fan persons

It's a poor article that embellishes upon and sensationalizes some actual quotations.

But the idea at the center of the article is an interesting one. Will video game fans purchase Xbox One consoles in order to be able to play every video game out there?

I don't know about that. I currently own every seventh and eighth generation console, and I hate the idea of depriving myself of any great game, but I am seriously turned off by what I've seen so far from Microsoft. I hope those that disapprove of Microsoft's business strategy will refrain from buying Xbox One because otherwise consumers will get more of the same.

So basically, they say that their customers are idiots, but there are still people defending them and saying they are customer-friendly ?

Do I also need to open my mouth so they poop in it easier ?
