From what I played on the demo pin point precision isn't a necessesity at all. You simply drag your fairy companion to hit triggers, cut ropes etc. The rear touch pad is 1:1 and you have the visual reference of the fairy... The Vita also has the better screen resolution than the wii U pad, bettercontrast, and from what I judged from the trailer in-game details like textures haven't taken a visible hit.
Anyway both versions will be great I'm sure, not point arguing over what is ultimately a personal preference. Some people don't like holding the stylus, some people find it awkward to use the Vita rear touch pad, some prefer size over sharpness, some may be looking forward to local co-op on the console. Apples and Oranges :)
