HOLY SHIT at these reviews. I was so cynical about the scores this was going to get.....I thought the guys predicting 90s in the prediction thread were gonna be disappointed. OMG. 

Honestly this tweet has got me the most excited of anything I've heard so far:

Last of Us is not a traditionally "fun" game. It's dark, depressing, and emotionally tiring. Some won't like that. That's good. That's okay.

if it has 23-24 perfect scores then it has more perfect scores than uncharted 3. uncharted 2 however had aruond 40 if i remember correctly

Yeah, though hopefully all go to metacritic.  And I thought I read somewhere that uncharted only had 25 perfects on metacritic, but that is definitely wrong now that I think about it.  Would be awesome if ND actually could top their own game.

First words from Polygon's review are almost the same. And then the guy starts his rant how it wasn't fun at all, the world is oppressive, the game is too dark etc. I think he wanted a "survival horror" a'la Dead Space 3, sigh



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Glad metacritic is praised....when their favourite game gets great averages :P

Good to see the game lived up to its hype though



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

i remember i counted them once. i counted UC3 the other day i remember it was 21 perfect scores. the meta can still get higher. IGN and eurogamers 10's still arent updated yet and its only 15 reviews. but i doubt it will get higher than it already is (96 meta out of 15 reviews)

If the guy who reviewed it at Gamespot was really the guy on neogaf that was saying he was the one reviewing it and that he had no idea who kevin dent, guy who said gamespot gave it above a 9, was.  Then I can see him lowering it just to spite the guy.
