Look at a 3DS and a regular DSi... The difference is pretty much noticeable, appart of the obvious 3D without the pesty glasses, games look something like this in comparison:
For Wii U, despite the obvious inclusion of a weird ass controller that makes the console one of a kind never-seen-before type of atrocity, it also obliterates the previous system graphically, even more of a leap than the one observed between DSi and 3DS. I think comparison pics for wii vs wii u are not needed at all.
Despite this, there were and currently still exist, hordes upon hordes of consumers who can't tell the systems apart.
I find this very curious and wonder how that same type of consumer - which may represent just about half of a console sales - will react when they gotta learn that this,
is one gen ahead of this,
Or which one of those is the dated so-last-gen one ?
We are all seing how this segment of consumers hurt the wii u and still to a lesser extent now, the 3ds. Despite the obvious naming of the consoles, that reads differently, I think some consumers will give you that look "Are you kidding me son ? This is the same thing I've got back home already..."
