Crap, FFVI and Xenogears already mentioned, so I'll have to go with the next on my list which is Suikoden II.

This loverly game features the best plot in an RPG outside of the Xeno Series, lots of great characters with several getting excellent depth and backstory, one of the best RPG sountracks ever, and a villain named Luca Blight who kicks all kinds of rear.

I'm also going to send some love to Chrono Cross, why? Its music and plot equals > Chrono Trigger! Though 90% of the characters were pointless.

My fav is FF7.  I loved the story line and the unknown past.  The battle system with the material was very good too.  I loved all the mini games, and  the world was just so big.  It was my first 3d RPG, the reason i bought the playstation.  The FMV during that time was amazing too.  Just loved it :)

FFIV is my second-favorite.  :)  The gameplay is rather simple, but IT WORKS.  I still prefer FFV's job and character-building system to FFIV's pre-rolled characters, but despite that, FFIV still manages to be awesome.

IMO, FFVI is the most overrated.  The first half of the game was fantastic, but the second half was crap, and the character-building system is pretty lousy too.

My favorite is Panzer Dragoon Saga, the innovative game play completely blow FFVI and FFVII out of the competition, and those two FF game is among my top rpgs list... Too bad not many able to play that great game, its so rare that game cost around $160 on ebay and I still got my copy ^^ bought it for like $50 bux when it first released, best purchase ever...

Did anyone else play shadowrun on the snes? the only reason i bought this game was because i went past the developers (beam software) building everyday to school. turned out to be an awesome game.

Nope, I don't own a SNES, I was having too much fun at that time with my NES, I hope someday Venezuela will have a developers team that I can pass by.
