I would be against it because of her backstory, I mean it plays a big part in her story like a '"BIG" part, well i mean the fact that she comes from africa not that shes black (Seeing as how 99% of africa is black). To put it simply the Character Storm becomes a queen of the country called Wakanda which is In the Continent of AFRICA so yeah not trying to go for the double standard but her race and nationality have a large effect on her story so yeah.

So. Black Kingpin, black Nick Fury, black Electro, and now, black Human Torch....Frankly, it's getting stupid. Is the new Torch adaopted, or is Sue black too? And why always African American? If this is going to continue , why not ret-con a character as Korean? Indian? Hispanic? Why doesn't Bollywood feel compelled to re-imagine beloved Indian characters as Norwegians? Whatever. Black Human Torch can kiss my ass.

Why don't they just make moar Black Characters...

@Zizzla. It's much less risky for movie studios to make films with established super heroes than new creations. Spawn was pretty new, an actual black character, and quite popular. The movie sucked though, and was only a mild box-office success. Hancock, was totally new, and a black character too. I think it did alright at the box-office. We had 3 Blade movies too. I really liked the 1st. Second was not so good. 3rd suuuuuucked.
