MS has TV and the NFL in addition to the same games PS4 does. It will win Murica. Who knows about UK.

I'm sorry this argument makes no sense. Microsoft doesnt have tv, you need to have tv in order to use the service microsoft provides.  And alot of people dont have that kind of subscription these days with the internet.  You can just hookup a laptop to your tv and there you go.  Its a nice feauture but its not the winning factor imo.

Of course you have to have an existing TV service to use the Xbone TV feature. Just like you need an Internet service to use Live or PSN. And in the US, bundles are extremely popular so many people with Internet have their television bundled through the same company. It's going to be massively successful in the US. Imagine if MS can get into agreements with any big companies to add in an Xbone console with certain packages or contracts. The potential money to be made is just disgusting.

Because people seem to think that current-gen trends will continue into the next. They might, at least at first, but next-gen starts from scratch. Anything can happen. Does the X1 have the best chance of dominating America? Yes. But depending on what mistakes they make(many from the looks of it) they could lose it.

I fully expect the Wii U to become the next big thing in America, at least for families. A price drop and some marketing is all it really needs. It even has Nintendo TVii which would be nice if it got advertised.

I fully expect the PS4 to become the go-to console for core gamers. A comparable price point and release date is all it needs to be competitive.

I fully expect the Xbox One to have an identity crisis. It will try to go for the Wii audience and the PS4 one. If successful, it could dominate the market. If its not, well then it won't.

Ex Graphics Whore.

Here's something. You can dislike the Xbox and still be American. If you dislike the Rocky series, you're not American. Get out of my country.

Why? Easy, US consumers (most) are patriotic and UK consumers wanna be like Americans! Of course every other nations has their own patriotism, but no where big as US!!

And they are easily fooled by ads!

Japan.

Yeah but why would a consumer dish out $399(i think this wil be the price) just to watch tv on their tv. Makes no sense. Gamers dont care about the tv side of the xbox and those people are the people who wil buy the console first. Ofcourse as a gamer these extra features are nice, having options isnt bad. But take into account that for a non gamer 399 is too expensive just too watch television with voice command. And lets be honest here, this is a service of microsoft I'm 100% sure that you need to have a Gold Live subscription to even use the live TV service. So that's another $60 a year on top of the TV provider subscription. Its just too expensive and not worth it as a standalone.

Because the biggest genres in America is on 360 a lot. FPS and Open world. FPS is also the biggest genre atm. Not sure it would stay but Open World might become big.

Aside from the ridiculous comment that the US is the least charitable nation, for your information it gives the most. Ill focus on your gaming statements.

The us is beast of a consumer and not only that are by far the least prejudice with their consuming dollars. Which does mean that the us consumer can easily switch over to the ps4 next gen, however this doesn't appear to be the case.

First, the Xbo and the ps4 will go on sale same date your assumption to the contrary is simply not supported.
Second, the us market continues to prefer the the Xbox over the ps3 despite your claim that hardcore gamers are in lock with the Sony brand, this cement is again simply far, In the is the hard core gamer is evenly split with a advantage to ms.

Third, the brand appeal of ms is quite high in the us and the uk for that matter, and it shows no sign of falling apart.

I think Sony will do better than this generation in the us and the uk but I think ms will still win the sales war.

If you mean they wil do better in those 2 country's than yeah high probability for sure. I think wordwide sony is gonna win handsdown.

I agree.
