Forums - Microsoft - Why XB1's biggest flaw is it's reliance on other services to function

LOL that reasoning is the dumbest one I have ever seen since people saying PS3 would 10 million sale in 12month back in the 2000s

every major IP will be on Xbox.... the handful of exclusive Sony will have will be matched on the other side and probably with a wider range of game appealing to a wider range of customer.... Sony has actually the smallest potential audience right now.... it's hardcore gamers between 15 and 25 years old..... where MS is targeting young actives starting a family between 25 and 35 which a wealthier and wider customer based than Sony has

and on top of that the rumored fee system is a priceless bait for developers..... which means potentially more love from Devs..... that 50/50 argument is completely silly and unfunded..... MS has largely enough work power to do a fully fledge console and develop other services on top of it..... multitasking with their ecosystem is what they have been doing for close to 3 decades.....

Around the Network

no it's a full console with an extra layer of service available in some countries on top of it..... that 50/50 argument is laughable.....

for the same price you get a console plus potential extra service depending on your location.... if anything you get more for less.....

plus Netflix is available to anybody with some technological know how.... I have Netflix and hulu+ in France right now in full HD on my Xbox 360

and even that Netflix availability is not dependent on MS but on Netflix development.....

once again that 50/50 make me laugh.... what 50% of gaming..... once again if anything it's 90-99% gaming plus 50% extra services.... so 140-149% for the same price
