i remember jonathan saying that no money exchanged hands but that they signed an agreement to not announce an xbox/wiiU version immediatly following the ps4 reveal to which he was okay with because he's team was too small to support a wiiU/xbox version at the same time as pc/ps4.

If you look through the comments, he seems to rule out PS360, says he doesn't see the appeal of the Wii U but says it would be easy to port to after iOS, and says Microsoft treated him and other developers badly.

Yes, but this ain't totally exclusive. More like Braid, which was timed exclusive. It will end up first on PC and Mac, and then ported to other consoles way later.
