In that america is xbox land at the moment and they will have a lead there and uk in the early days of the next gen

they may or may not keep that lead in those territories like they are doing right now with the 360,but sony is also the comeback kid overall so worldwide sony will get it the title worldwide.they also have to contend with a very strong ps3 and all the exclusives that they seem to continue throw at it

i think that will cause a problem for sony in the short term but they will get over that hurdle in time.it will be much easier for microsoft as we all know(according to some folks on here 360 has no more exclusives coming to it further down the road)and should quickly and quietly fizzle out...hmmmm,that in it,s self makes it much easier for microsoft to be able to concentrate on the XBOX 1 with more exclusive content/games earlier  

so it is not by my reasoning that thed X1 should have the slight early addvantage but by the more learned persons on here.if some of you disagree with me on this then it will mean you have essentially SPAT UP INTO THE AIR AND ALLOWED IT TO FALL BACK IN YOUR FACE HMMMM.please think before you respond.

all in all i will admit sony and ps4 has a better chance at being the world leader again next gen than microsoft and X1.

Its hard to see how it will an out at this stage. I think the ps4 will get more hardcore gamers buying it. However MS MS has been targeting the greater audience of casual gamers and non-gamers similar to how nintendo successfully did last gen. This is the great unknown - will these casuals and non-gamers buy the xbox in droves (in which case the xbox will sell way more than the ps4) or will there be some sales but not enough.

I personally suspect there wont be too much difference in sales. Xbox will win US and the ps4 the rest of the world,.

America is not loyal to MS and can switch to Sony next generation.
Sony has the advantage because they have Japan.

No chance, not with this negativity

America is xboxland,but it will be interesting to see if it can maintain that.
