I played Bully on the PS2 and it was fun for a few days but then it just got really old. I don't know if it's maybe open world games like that aren't for me (never played GTA except for cheat fest to blow things up) but I just got incredibly bored with the game.

I can hope the new content would make things more interesting but I have the funny feeling it won't do much for me at least.

Heh, I'm the exact opposite. I love the freedom to run around, do useless stuff, do a mission, more useless stuff, etc.

Which probably explains why I'm a huge WRPG fan, too. I hate being constrained unless the story really sucks me in (which happens about once every 10,000th blue moon because 98% of video game storylines feel like they were written by a third grader in crayon during nap break).

Actually, I thought a little more about it today and I liked the roaming around but I didn't like having to pay so much attention to the class schedule.  Sometimes I did just want to run around but I would have to dodge the prefects or make sure to leave enough time to get back before night.

It was fun paying attention to all that for a little while but it got old quickly.

I agree. The class schedule was probably the most annoying portion of the game, especially as the year progressed and you ventured farther from campus. It could have used some changes but off the top of my head, I'm not quite sure how they would have done it better.

i was fairly disappointed by the lack of updated textures when i thought this was from the wii.. are you sure this is a vid from the 360 version?

@rocket pig - they could have had a class were you get a job(job training)? or off campus class? in the town so you could wander around and discover and didnt have to run all the way back to the school.

Tabsina - they aren't redoing the graphics just giving it a spit shine(cough shading cough)

oh right, fair enough.. thanks for clearing that up pooperscooper (thats fun to write)

lol.. i guess i can get back at my 360 owner friend who was laughing at the HD version of the video saying "it looks crap still because its on wii" when compared to the SD version

It's pretty easy to tell from the outdoor scenes that it's the 360 version.

A little off topic. but even with improved textures and what not I still hate R*'s character models. I don't even really like their GTAIV character models, they just all look like crap no matter system they're on.
