i brought both Xbox's at launch but i won't buy this.
it was by far the WORST system showing ever... 1 hour of them talking about TV shows? i mean really? now this? HA i actually hope they fail.i have never said that about a system before but this system is Bad for the industry. i hope the WiiU can take off and the PS4 continues to look as amazing as it does.

Agreed. Xbox One reveal made me appreciate the Wii U. And that is weird. ;o

Just wow...we all have to thank MS for the free PS4/WiiU advertisement...

Woowww.

Whatever interest was gained in the XBox One just flushed down the toilet. PS4 it is then. Seriously, if true, this is a very, very bad move. I think Nintendo is comfortably sitting back right now and watch the blundering ensue. Sony too.

Eh? Its true.

I didnt say I dont have a preferred console as i personally like my 360 waaaay more than my ps3.

That said Im not loyal tp MS at all. If they screw me then forget them. They lost me as a consumer

That's quick.

That's pretty bad.

I still think it's overblown. Something like that 45% of the gaming market is digital downloads already. Most are non saleable, non-physical, non-tradeable copies of games for PCs and consoles and phones and tablets. We largely have stopped buying physical DVDs and CDs for other media, so we lack the ability to easily trade or loan or sell that content.

But somehow THIS is the tipping point? The person who bought a non-BC PS3 and spent hundreds if not thousands on downloadable games through PSN with no guarantee that they can ever own them, transfer them to PS4, etc.etc. is going to sit here and scream about not owning physical games?

Why not wait for the details before screaming yourselves hoarse about irrelevancy and, oh I don't know, relax. We all know the day is coming when physical copies will be a rarity. Whether it's tomorrow or in 5 years, it's coming. Might as well get used to it sooner rather than later. You all sound exactly like the people bemoaning the death of the vinyl LP. Sorry - I kind of like my music options now better, thanks.

It'll all be ok. Take a deep breath.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Won't retailers just boycott XboxOne if PS4 keeps the status quo on used games? MS is killing their profitability here...

Gamestop will be forced to boycott the XboxOne because it will piss off consumers to buy used games for it because its like paying double for games.

Definitely faked interviews. Since when does badgenome do serious threads? Video of those words coming out of Phil Harrison's mouth or it didn't happen.

Either that or somehow Phil Harrison's words have been completely taken the wrong way.
