So, for the Wii U, I already knew it wouldn't do great for very specific reasons, and analysts knew about it as well. But there was also great chances for this console to be somewhat successful and end up seconds.
I can assure that the futur of the Xbox One is dim and dark, and so can the market

And continuing...also to prove further the point, here is a poll posted in here on VGChartz (as indication)
Which Next-gen console will you be buying? |

| WiiU | 23 | 16.67% |

| PS4 | 74 | 53.62% |

| Xbox1 | 6 | 4.35% |

Which is a trend that can be seen accross the whole web on VG websites, forums or blog.
Now, usually, even for the Wii U I would argue about the reasons why it's going to fail somewhat, but with the Xbox One there is not even much to argue because the reasons are simple :
1. The PS3, release one year after the X360 is close to sell more, which in term of image and following is a big advantage for the PS4.
2. It's partially always-on (like Steam or Ubiplay) : all games will require an online activation, and some games will be always-on
3. It has locked DRM : each game is associated with a singe Xbox Live account
4. It has limited used games : you won't be able to sell games as you won't, and some will require an undetermined fee to used with another Xlive account.
5. It's not backward compatible, which could have been a plus given the above. The PS4 also, but besides the PS legacy games it has other added value.
6. The assets of the Xbox One, which cable TV access is dull : most people already have their cable service provider, and outside of 'merica, people don't care about it
So as I predicted in a previous topic post, the Wii U is likely to be saved as a side console (I don't like the Wii U but I now I will buy one for some games) because the Xbox One is COMPLETE failure in term of positionning and conditions. My guess is, depending on the launch price of the PS4, launch titles, and the advertised options and added value it will sell either few or far above the Xbox One and Wii U, but it will sell more for sure.
