PS4 is the most powerful. The mere fact that Microsoft didn't go into details is proof of that.

Your statement is based on what you want to be true, not on logic.

Uh, come again?

Hmm? o.O

How would you address the full 8GByte of ram in the PS3 with a 32bit OS?

Apparently Sony and Microsoft agreed on same power, in order to receive great multiplatform 3rd parties support.
And I can't see where PS4 is better ? the xbox didn't reveal its GPU nor RAM speed, isn't it ?

We've had the Xbox specs for months now. They leaked a long time ago.

No, the PS4 is capable of having 64 or even 128 bits in their components.   Where are you seeing it would only be 32 bits?  I'm only asking so I can clarify that part of my post that is confusing you.

Ah I see, I don't really know, I just assumed that since it was 32bit it was limited to that...

Also, I think I've heard this before, but isn't it easier to work with 32bit than 64bit? I can't remember where I heard it, but apparently it is.

... And isn't 32bit limited to 4GB RAM anyway? How does that work out if it has 8GB?

I'm sure PS4 will be able to use all of the RAM availalbe. It's not a conventialn PC, it is highly customized to its specific needs which is games.

and processing wise they should be the same or next to what PS3/XBox360 had.

Since they use the same 8core Jaguar processor, that is pretty much a no-brainer. Better gpu could mean better textures, higher framerates or nothing at all if developers are taking the lazy route (which all 3rd parties will likely take).

I believe that applies to you, not me. I'm using logic in assuming that since they didn't boast about specs, or release them to the press, that they are hiding them, like Nintendo did with the Wii U. They will rely on marketing and PR to make people think the console is more powerful.

We know the specs though, we've had them for months. It's not a huge difference in power but it is enough to make a difference, especially in exclusives.

Both consoles started off with the same processor. Both customized it to fit their needs. So no, they're not 100% identical.

Your statement is a logical fallacy of the following form:

If A Then B; B, => A

Or in plainer terms:

If Xbox One is weaker than PS4 Then Microsoft will not boast of the specs.

Microsoft did not boast of the specs.

Therefore Xbox One is weaker than PS4.

This is logically incorrect.
