Considering the Vita launched at  £229.99 vs US $249.99, the same ratio applied here assuming the $400 figure is true would  =  £ 367.99, in no way contradicting your  £350-£400 prediction.

That's the higher price point Sony (or MSoft) can go for if they want to have a successful launch.

The economy nowadays can't handle 500 $/€ consoles.

EDIT: Nevermind, no bet.

$399 is expected really, it's $100 cheaper than the PS3's cheapest model at launch.

Where I live tax for $400 would be $28.  So $428.  It all depends on which state you live in for tax percent.

I would love for it to be 400. Might mean a drop in the Wii U sooner than later, which is good for my wallet.
