Forums - Gaming - You give BRAZIL a bad name.

A gang (one person at least) that can make the whole country look bad? That is a problem!

Blowing this out of proportion. I'm pretty sure Xbox and PS customer department is full of complaints of death threats and bullying from UK to Japan.

Yes, I agree. I wrote this because they made articles about it in the FOLHA DE SÃO PAULO (brazilian New York times) and REVISTA VEJA (brazilian Newsweek).

Did they start the article by saying: "aumentamos, mas nao inventamos"?

There you go dude, here is your precious link: http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/tec/2013/05/1280744-brasileiros-ganham-fama-ruim-praticando-assalto-e-arrastao-em-jogos-on-line.shtml

I do not have the habit of lying, except for girls, and at my job, and at the movie entrance, and...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

This is why I suggest playing on PSN where no one communicates with each other.

First post nails it

Thats why I love PSN and prefer it over Live. Everybody shuts up, its very relaxing. Online Multiplayer in most games is just a replacement for a sophisticated AI, to me.

Agree, when someone talks on KILZONE 3 I put him on mute right away, it is indeed relaxing to play without the chattering.

People are talking in Killzone 3!?

In my defence, I haven't played it in a while.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

I bet it's the Argentines making the Brazilians look bad... we do that alot to our lovely neigbours the Belgiums...

Sometimes they do talk.

Do not underestimate our imaturity man, sometimes I get out of Batlefield 3 and Killzone 2 - 3 matches when there are fellow brazilians around...

Also, Argentina can do that in text, but, when it comes to voice, no one can imitates the brazilian portuguese tone that we speak, it is quite a interesting way of comunicating...

I'm from Brazil and there's a lot of behavior from Brazilians which I don't like, one example is how we post all kind of useless and idiot stuff in social networks like facebook and twitter. But specifically for this one, I think it's being exagerated and generalized. I'm pretty sure most of Brazilans are not like that. We're a huge country, so even if only a small percentage of us is acting like that, it still looks like a lot of people for the rest of the world.

(Looks at signature gif): Yes... huge... they are huge...

I mean, yes, we are a huge country and there are idiots everywhere, but, I do believe some brazilians have a quite peculiar way of being idiots.

I remember once that I said in a Forum somewhere that Demon´s Souls was a very hard game. Everybody was fine with it, except for a fellow brazilian, who started saying the nastiest things ever about how much of a noob and retarded I was for thinking the game was hard, and even treatened to "find and kill me", which I thought it was a surreal new way of being a online idiot.
