Alright then how is it the poors fault for a bad economy? Why do you think they are more likely to be arrested? Why should women be attracted to men with money only? I'll tell you, the way you put it you is very one sided and just don't understand the whole picture.

I'll say how i see it

For the economy, the poor consume and work for the rich. While, the rich are supposed to invest in jobs for people. The economy relies on this investment from government and the rich to keep on going strong. When this money is hoarded by this small group and taken away from the country and stored in tax havens, it benefits no one except the one person. The problem is, especially in these bad economic times, is that investment money is needed more than before but if it only benefits the one person, growth is stopped completely as for example £1 million would greately improve lifes for many people than sit in some bank account doing nothing.

As for why the working class are more likely to get arrested, well thats for many reasons. First, they are sold this lifestyle the American dream, they are told anyone can make it here but in reality this is false. And so they realise this and end up being criminals from the social problems of this lie. Unfortunately, money seems to mean everything in this world, it dictates your lifestyle, wellbeing, everything. In the bad neighbourhoods, its no wonder many of them are criminals, they can't afford nothing of real value which is demeaning to them. It makes people bitter and want to fight each other just because of money. They also see the airbrushed image of the famous as something to aspire for, even if the famous themselves have many problems. Corruption in government and the legal system is another problem, as you'll see that those with money have the power. The rich can bribe judges, the rich can get the best lawyers and often can get away with more. It's always been this way, as the poor have none of this things.

As for the last question, what century is this?, i mean come on! You don't sell your daughter to the richest guy out there. There is no dowry. It's the 21st century and women go for who they like, for most the wealth simply doesn't matter.

And if you have statistics, actually use them. They might teach you something. Also, stop generalising the poor as being the same.

I think you take everything I say too seriously. Some things you're responding too were jokes.

I don't feel like reading your wall of words. But you should Google statistics yourself.

Frankly, my argument is that we shouldn't give the woman special powers. Do not legalize abortion for irresponsible women. Only allow it for women who have health risks or were raped (and even the latter case is contesable.) There is no natural right to kill a fetus. And no, this isn't morality I'm assuming, but natural law.

Fair enough. I still think its a question of morality, however. I don't believe in "natural laws."

Instead of abortion, do you think instead we should force children to be raised by irresponsible parents? Who knows the consequences of that.

That's the risk with anyone though. Just because they didn't abort doesn't mean they can't be shitty parents. It's sort of luck really if you are born to good parents. Although those who want to abort but can't normally are bad parents

Let's say this statement were true (I have no idea whether or not it actually is). Would it not be better to let these people have an abortion instead of forcing them to bear a child, and condemning the said child to be raised by bad parents?

I would say so but it's hard to say whether they would make bad parents or not. I suppose age has to do with but their attitude too

Huh? You just said that they normally make bad parents...

Seriously dude? It was obviously a metaphor. It should've been clear, because, if nothing else, I asserted that it can't be called killing, then immediately afterwards talked about a guy comitting murder.

Edit: your position seems very inconsistent. You claim in another post that you're fine with the woman having the final say in whether the fetus gets an eventual birth or not. Why don't you want to charger her with murder if a fetus really is a human?

Why not charge her with murder? Because I feel taking away abortion would lead to other problems. Like women looking for more drastic methods to kill their unborn child.

So if people want to have abortions, whatever. I don't want to stop them. But don't tell me a fetus isn't a person so you can sleep better at night.

So? If the fetus is a child, then it's murder, regardless of the method used to abort. So, if the fetus is a child, then women should be charged with murder for abortion too.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying a fetus is not a person to get better shut-eye at night; trust me, I have no trouble falling asleep in the worst of times. I truly believe that a fetus is not a person. How do you justify calling a fetus a person? A fetus is a potential person. So is a sperm cell, so is an egg. Is it then also murder for men to masturbate, or for women to go through a menstrual cycle without conceiving?

Sperm cells will not develop into a person on their own, neither will eggs. Once conception occurs development begins. Consequently, a unique diploid organism is produced, and humans only come in diploid form. That's the difference between an egg or sperm cell and a fetus.

I'll quote KungKras for you, whose response is perfectly in line with my own position:

Who cares if it has the same genome as a human, it doesn have a brain, so it does not experience anything. It's not developed into a person yet, so it shouldn't get treated as a person.

Again, a fetus is a potential human being. Like a seed is a potential tree.

Many people define humanity by a unique organism which falls within the human species, which a fetus does, as opposed to one's brain-capacity. Likewise, we should promote post-birth infanticide because a baby is not a "fully-developed" human if we accept the definiton that a fully developed brain qualifies somebody as human.

P.S The brain of a fetus develops within 4-5 weeks of conception.

The difference is that an infant does have a brain and is in fact sentient.

I'm against late-term abortion myself. But abortion early on is not immoral. It's certainly not murder.

Have you heard of William Bryan Jennings, for example? There aren't more rich in your jails because of corruption.

Nice cherry picking. You've changed my mind. Its clearly rich people commiting a majority of the violent crimes.

God knows when I'm out at night I pray a rich person doesn't attack me. I also avoid rich neighborhoods, so dangerous.

What you're saying is beyond stupid. What are you going to assert next? Maybe black people and hispanics commit the majority of crimes in some other stats, hence they shouldn't reproduce too? That you're scared some black or hispanic dude might attack you at night?

A bit too much exposure to Fox "news"?

Nah, maybe we can derail another thread with that topic.

You wacky liberals... and your wacky ignoring of statistics.
