I am usually not into Japanese design, but this game really looks great. I will be keeping an eye on this for sure.

Really hope this is a PS4 game and those were in game graphics, because its the look of that world that makes me want to spend time in it, whatever the gameplay is. This looks like an epic experiance, and I really dislike an experience of this size to be limited to a 5in screen.

They lost their way during the PS3 era.

To be fair to them, they did work on a lot of PSP titles during that time, but it was a bit of a fall (imo) from what they were capable of during the PS2/early PSP era.

They restructured and got new management in a couple of years ago (including some western managers i.e. the guy making Puppeteer). So hopefully it'll be onwards and upwards for them from now on.

Anyway, as other people have said - that was ace. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. The only thing I would say is - PLEASE don't go too strong on the Monster Hunting aspect with it =/

This just highlights many of the reasons I love Japan Studio. You just never know what's coming next from them. They can just swing from brilliance of a platformer like Ape Escape to a great JRPG like Rogue Galaxy; all the while collaborating on action game like Demon's Souls to a rhythm-rts like Patapon.

Although they don't always get things quite right - at least for my tastes - they always keep things fresh. Keep it up, guys.
