The curse words used were not used in an insulting manner. They were used to intensify their point. Was it tasteful or the best choice of words? Probably not. But expressing your anger or frustration, even with foul language, has never been against the rules; unless someone is being attacked.


Considering I am criticised probably more than any other member on this site I believe I have a thick enough skin.  I don't feel I'm asking for too much.  Neither one of these was used in a  civil manner and do this anywhere else and you are in trouble.  Once again VGC looks unprofessional and the rules are once again not 100% certain.

So you think this is a civil way of making these comments?  In both situations they showed aggravation or anger.  Say this on any other site and you are banned.  Say this to your boss or at work and you are fired.  Say this to a teacher etc you are in trouble.  

Putting emphasis on something can be done without anger.

As I said I don't mind cursing, but there is a fine line on how you say these things and these are not joking around.

"Again?" refers to the fact that this is the second time in less than two days that you want to limit the freedom of users here for silly reasons.

I could care less about avatars.  Not once have I went and talked to mods about avatars.  I saw a thread about it and agreed with it.  I'll play bad guy, fair enough.

It was not my thread.  It was Galakai's thread talking about avatars.  I commented in it and agreed.  Long story short I said that we have many border-line avatars and then we have a sig from pezus which not sure how that doesn't break any rules.

I agree with the OP - people like me find it offensive sometimes - so just try to be civil



     
Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Maybe they just don't view the issue as serious.
