I think it'll end up higher than 185, just because Sony games tend alright throughout the week, compared to Nintendo titles which mostly tend to be concentrated on the weekends.

With that said, I think it'll end up higher than KH first week so more within the realm of your second two predictions than your first.

It's not doing as well as I expected, though, so who knows.

Regarding the Vita predictions, I don't even know how they're going to track it.  Will they be counting the 3 separate SKU's separately?  iirc, when Soul Sacrifice released with single pack / dual pack, one tracker (think it was Media Create) tracked those together as one set of sales while the other tracked them separately.  So we could end up with 3 numbers from Famitsu and 1 number from Media Create.

Also for those wondering, Vgchartz has DQM: Terry's Wonderland 3D at ~960k, also it has hilariously tiny legs (if I remember, it sold something like 930k in 2012 and just 30k this year). It's very, very front-loaded

The previous Monsters game on 3DS didn't reach a million, so I don't think they were aiming for that.  It'll probably ship 1m at least.


DQ monsters on the DS did though. The last 3DS version was just a port btw.

But so is this one, they're both remakes of GBC games, whereas the Joker games were new entries

What's the deal with publishers releasing their games just after Christmas ? Don't they want their games to benefit from Christmas shopping ?

Christmas is not so big a holiday in Japan,  January/februari has some holidays like the coming of age day.

Pretty sure with respect to Japan they're not aiming for "just after Christmas" but rather "just before New Year's."
