Last day for pokemon.. hopefully it's a 20+
Still personally debating on getting it.. i was excited at first but the reviews are very underwhelming tbh... would be the first time i skip a new gen.

Pokemon ended up getting 766 points. Using the same ratio as Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Sword/Shield would end up selling 1.8 million launch weekend.

I'm expecting 1.5+ million at retail and 200-300k digital.

That sounds pretty impressive all things considered.

Would be interesting to see how much came from the Nintendo Online Store in Japan.

Nice, Pokemon! Glad to see it decided to go for one final burst of points in the last week. Would have been nice if it could have been a thousand pointer, but I think those days are probably over for COMG. Still, looking at that Game Data Library link that was posted a while back, I think Pokemon will do just fine. It seems like Pokemon as a franchise tends to sell about a third of its sales first week for new gen mainline games, give or take a bit, and a bit more than a third first week for other games in the mainline series like remakes and third versions. LGPE has already sold 3 times its first week, and SW/SH will outdo it first week, and probably also sell at least three times, and I can't see it selling any less than 3 million, and if it reaches 4 million, that would be in line with other mainline new gen games, and if it sells just a bit over a million first week like we're hoping, then 4 million wouldn't be outlandish for lifetime as multiple gens have managed 4 times the first week in lifetime sales. It might end up being the weakest gen in Japan, but it'll still get Pokemon-like sales and will probably do better in other regions.

Pretty sad final tally for Pokemon, good boost lately though.

I would go for 1.3 M first week, reviews are pretty good but let's see
