No it doesn't. The original game was 100 hours. Even if this game added 50 hours of playtime you're still paying for 66% of a game you already own on the same system. It is a large DLC. Persona 5 Royal is an expansion.

Even if it was $50 to upgrade, instead of $60 it'd be something.

The game is largely overhauled in so many areas, and that’s only what they know so far. So even the 100 hundreds of original content of the same. It is much more than an expansion

Pokemon is an anime, yet seems to be doing...worse then elsewhere? *checks Amazon* nope, Pokemon Sword/Shield is just that unpopular in Japan, wtf. Shield is nowhere to be found, the highest SKU is at 41...

LGPE steadily closing the gap with Sw/Sh. At first I wondered if it would pass last gen's third version/sequel title in USUM, now I wonder if it will even beat last year's spinoff game. I mean, unless COMG is just declining that fast, we have a mainline Pokemon game that is less than 50 points ahead of a spinoff game from just last year. The gap peaked at 52 points. The true gen-opening mainline Pokemon title should no less than absolutely decimate a less-than-impressive spinoff title.

Let's Go sold ten million units in 2018 alone. Pretty sure no one at Nintendo/Game Freak will be shedding tears over some eight-digit number of sales for a $60 console game, even if it's fewer than previous new generations.
