I can't believe the 140k figure about shipments,seriously only 22k more than XCX!Splatoon had double the points of XCX at comg!WTH :p:p:p:p

Retailers likely overestimated XCX and underestimated Splatoon due to their preconception concerning genre strength in Japan. As a result, the ordered more XCX than they needed and less Splatoon. Still, if those numbers are right that's ~112,000 first day.
