I think that has to do with expectations. Everyone expected Yo-Kai to do really well, and many people didn't even think Splatoon would chart (or at the very most, chart a week before launch). 

Plus, Splatoon is getting more points so it's just more interesting to talk about right now. Especially since it's a console game.

Exactly, and it's because all the things I said before (it being a new IP for a console that doesn't sell well and it's a shooter, etc)

Lol wow. I'm still shocked that people use W101 as a reference for Splatoon's potential constantly. I would not be surprised if Splatoon managed to outsell W101's entire LT sales in Japan alone. 


The shocking is that many people are calling bayo 2 a major flop in that thread...Facepalm,like 500k and counting is bad and they dare to compare it with w101 while bayo is at that level with only being seven months in the market while w101  which has quite fewer sales,it is  2 years in the market...

In the USA,It is outpacing the ps3 and xbox360 version although no one has mentioned that except me in the sales thread containing bayo 2...:P Enough with the envy!

All those people are me, I have dozens of gaf alts, nobody has noticed yet.

Also I'm the one doing all the preorders of Splatoon on comgnet, its all a plot to crush your dreams.

Although given the preorders the people are watching here, there will probably be some guys who now expect that Splatoon will fly past the 1m mark in worldwide sales.
