There are threads here somewhere where we discussed it as well. Probably mentioned a couple times in my console comparison thread as well as the once rumored name of PS4... can't for the life of me remember what that was... doesn't matter.

Point is, relax. We'll know in 11 days and really who cares about the name. "Wii" sold 100m.

It's pretty clear the 8/infinity symbol will be used. They want to tie it to Windows 8 and it's just so Microsoft to do so.

I still think Loop makes more sense than Infinity. But it's the certainty about "Infinity" that bothers me.

I feel like this shouldn't be a thread and should just be a reply to one. Of the existing Xbox Infinite threads..

and "Wii U" isn't likely to, and the name has a part in that. Not saying it's all about names, but they're important.

That likely is more for some sub-system that will be part of the next xbox like xbox live is a sub-system.

I thought people knew it was that old...I remember seeing an article sometime after E3 in 2012.

That all these articles are saying "REPORT: XBOX INFINITY IS THE NAME" rather than, here's another rumour from an anonymous source. This has no more substantiation than any other name, bu it's being reported as credible and final.
