We have known for a while now that Sony's first party stsudio, Santa Monica is in development of a new title as is with every other Sony owned studio. Though nothing is confirmed, it seems that Santa Monica may be preparing for an announcement in three weeks during the E3 2013 conference.

It'll be interesting to see what they do next, given that they just finished with God of War: Ascension. Hopefully they put the series to rest for a bit.

I hope they've simply taken over "The Last Guardian" from Team ICO, at least SSM should/would be able to finish it in a decent timeframe and still make a stellar game.
