Just had a look on IGN at the Vita reviews.
There's only 10 retail games on the PS Vita with scores above 8/10
Of those 10 games, 8 of them are ports and 1 of them is a spin-off. In fact if you look through the retail review listing it's basically all ports. EDIT (Just to elaborate, this isn't having a dig at the Vita having only ports, in todays gaming stuff it's just the way it is with budgets and whatnot, it's more the point that these ports are bascially for the most part carbon copies of the home console releases with just a few concessions that are inevitable on a handheld).
Every time I go to IGN these days and there's a new Vita review, the review reads postively but then the score at the end is nearly always in the high 7s. The most recent of which is the latest Guilty Gear Accent core release. I'm really not sure how it can be given a 7.9 based on video game relative generous scoring to over media.
Is it me or does IGN seem to be treating the Vita more harshly than other consoles?
