Well according to EB AUS NOV is the date here lol. What I don't like is the price. Looks like we going back to old days when PS3 launched.

Watch_Dogs
PlayStation 3

Preorder
- Available November 21 (?)

Watch_Dogs
Wii U

Watch_Dogs (PS4) (Placeholder Price)
PlayStation 4

Even current gen consoles like ps360 went up. WiiU isn't as high as ps4? Why? Don't Nintendo use their own discs or am I just confused with someone else?

Would Ubisoft even have this information? Is Sony really trusting 3rd parties not to spill the beans? Will I stop asking dumb questions?

Indeed they did, PS3/360 was up at about $120 when it started, But when our dollar become parity or better with the US, Then prices dropped to 78-98 for games, except for limited edition ones with extras.

Where do you buy your games? I have a feeling we've already talked about this before though...

You can usually get new games at JB for around $60 for standard editions.

I get them from JB but I havent been to a store in 12months as been recovering from back injury lol. Those are the ranges I have seen  for new releases for standard to special edition.

Granted they drop to around 60 a  month or so later.

I'm betting on October release.

Big sales spike at launch in October.
Another push in November in the USA (Black Friday) - important market for Sony.
And finally new push in December - holidays.

Launching in November might cause supply issues if they launch too close to Black Friday.

this is what I keep saying it's much smarter to get the initial shipment that will almost certainly sell out anyway out of the way before the BF rush then the holidays take over.  You can get another .5-1m out that way.  Not to mention PS2 launched in October and it turned out pretty well lol

You honestly think they are going to release a brand new console only 10 days before Black Friday? I think that spells massive supply problems, which is the last thing you want. If people want your console, have it be available.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

I think Sony was pretry about a October or November launch... so what the news here?
