I would understand it if the console had been announced already and people didn't like what was shown, but this is completely different. And if MS delivers an incredible conference on May 21st with amazing games there is going to be some serious humble pie being dished out. I don't even know if the Next Xbox will be my primary console next gen as some of the rumors do look unappealing to me but let's wait and see what they show first.

When Orthy ends up cheerleading always on, and bashes people for that not to be an option, and about everything that was shown is horrible, and specs leaked don't show themselves to be better than the PS4, why do you think the reaction isn't going to be negative? As of now, outside of that really cool projector thing to the walls (which I personally don't have use for) exactly WHAT is being shown that makes the next Microsoft console a better choice than the PS4? Is guaraanteed paying for online play an awesome feature?
If you don't want bashing, get information out there. Otherwise, you get what is leaked, which is 8GB of slower RAM than the PS4, always on, elimination of used games, and requirement to have Kinect scan you when playing. Think about it a minute here. What does it say, when I have an XBox bias, and find the PS4 approach superior?
No, the criticisms are complete justified. What Microsoft needs to do is show otherwise and dispel these criticisms.... Particularly to do something to get the videogame journalists to stop pushing the inane 720 name, that comes out of the movie Real Steel.

Several reports such as Jeff Gurtsmen at Giant Bomb, Kotaku, amd multiple other sources have said MS have locked down major exclusives.
In other words people are only commenting on negatives. No one is talking about the mountain of positive rumors that are now flooding in the closer we get to the reveal

The "major"(we don't know crap about the game and it is rumored to use an outdated engine and not the FB3 from EA) locked down Exclusive is probably the Respawn Entertainment Game aka the CoD of the NextGen
This game has always online and is going to be a Microsoft Exclusive.
One of our sources tells us that Respawn's futuristic shooter will be designed for multiplayer. In fact, they say, the game is always-online.
Weird the source of Kotaku is saying that...But how does that work if the NextBox isn't always Online or does support that?;)

Sony is far ahead in development and their console is far better planned.
A lot of 1st Party games got cancelled cause they didn't turn out that great and Microsoft now has to BRIBE EVERYONE again so they get any games at all while Sony has millions of new IPs from their AAAAAAAA Studios coming.
How can anyone support that?Microsoft is again on the way to destroy gaming with their money cause they screwed up and didn't take it (Sony) serious.

On Page 3 i believe someone(someone with Wiz in his name) quoted a Neogaf source/post saying their BetaKits are overheating

Sony obviously catched them off guard cause even their own studios didn't know they have 8GB RAM of the superior kind so of course Microsoft couldn't know about it either.And now they have problems to adapt.

Microsoft has no own games and tries to buy stuff AGAIN - check Negative
Looks like Microsoft tries to survive again with Halo,excuses,their money and the popular casual shooter of the Gen.
YEAH WE SHOULD TOTALLY LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXTBOX if we look at the Information we HAVE RIGHT NOW while Microsoft isn't denying anything of that.
Hell even if 80% of all that turns out to be wrong the damage is done cause Microsoft isn't saying and denying anything while Sony is getting positive news EVERY DAY.
Sony only has a perfectly running console with cool features,better online system(not even a discussion about it cause Sony will only do what they already do better than Microsoft even better) and tons of games from their best studios prepared while every 3rd Party and Indie Developer is talking good about them.
Of course we shouldn't look forward to that(Sony) and rather to a console that is the worst piece ever in terms of console,games and support as it looks RIGHT NOW.
Oh and of course - How can anyone defend that?
