google can eat shit and die for all i care.

at least the judge is trying to be fair about it, all i know now is that ive bought my last android phone. i already started moving off gmail.

Outlook.com was the nail in the coffin for my Google account(gmail) the only reason I have it right now is to access Play store and my Youtube account. If only youtube was independent that would have been great.

I can't even think about how Google(Motorola) came up with a 4b$ proposition on FRAND patents, it simply does not make any sense

I dont' use gmail for YouTube, but then my account is a legacy account.

Well I'm not allowed to use my username(legacy account) on Youtube anymore as a sign-in method and Google keeps trying to get me to use G+ by changing my username to my real name in Youtube which I seriously find pretty irritating and privacy concerning.

I just by-pass it.

which is no surprise...

from a claim by Google of 2.25% this takes it down to between 0.8 cents and 16 cents per product...

$4billion a year claim becomes $1.8million. Suck it up Google.

It's not just Google either.  Pretty much all the mobile patent holders are taking a bath.  It's why for example Apple is doing their best to close the samsung procedings immediatly because they're afraid the government review is going to nuke the whole thing.

A lot of these patents are going to go by the wayside all together.

That said... i  wouldn't be surprised if this got reversed on appeal, possibly for worse results for motorola if they win but....

a Judge really has never set a RAND rate before and it seems well... out of place.  At least in American law.
