I think another price drop for 360 would see alot of mainstream sales.

Have you forgotten that PS3 has had a major price drop just before christmas (at a loss to Sony) at least here in Europe. And also is every Mobile phone shops free giveaway over christmas? Even with this it bareley stays ahead of 360. ( a few thousand) A price drop from Microsoft this year would make major sales for them.
