Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo not holding traditional E3 press conference this year?

Hahahaha. Yes, little announcements. All Nintendo has confirmed so far are the successor to the third-best-selling video game of all time and the successor to the highest-rated video game of all time. And Smash Bros which surely nobody cares about, unless it's revealed in a live press conference in which case it's the hypest shit.

And surely that's it, there's no way Nintendo will bring anything else to E3, like the already-confirmed new Pokémon generation releasing globally in 5 months, or the two Zelda games releasing this Holiday season. The media doesn't care about these small-time products, again, unless they're discussed in a live, televised press conference. Then the media would be all over it.

I'd be more than willing to make some kind of sig bet with you if I could even figure out how to phrase it. Nintendo will receive mainstream media attention during E3? But I'm sure you'd come back with, "They will, but not as much as they would have if they had a regular press conference." But there's no way to measure that.

Sorry but they won't... there games you are talking about was already announced... like I said Nintendo have little things to make a big conference... that is the reason they are skipping the E3 this year.

Ermm.... that's your opinion.

I could also say Sony has nothing to show because their highlight is a gray generic shooter. Just because those things don't catter to your taste, it doesn't mean it won't impress others.

Opinion?

Sony will show finally the PS4, reaveal all the games for it (most first-party non-shooters), the price, the release date... yeah it is just my opinion lol.

Maybe I just live in the real world.

Then next year, Sony and MS won't have anything to show either, and E3 should be scrapped entirely.

What makes your games better than WiiU games, that according to you, are irrelevant?

You live in your own little world where only Sony matters.

Sony and Microsoft will have games to show next year... they will not skip the E3 conference... Nintendo can't do that this year too because it is a really bad move.

My point is Nintendo didn't have announce enough to make the E3 conference this year... just that.

Nintendo has games. Do you think they slacked off the whole year and are just starting development on WiiU titles? I know skipping E3 is a bad move, but frankly, if you think it's because they don't have enought titles to show, it's laughable from your part.

Not to mention it's baseless and YOUR OPINION.

Ok E3 will prove who is right... MY OPINION or your FACT.

Already announced, but not shown. Or played. No one has seen any of them.

We've seen more of the PS4's upcoming games than we have the Wii U's. Sony has no games to show since Killzone, inFamous, etc have already been seen, right?

You are being ridiculous.

Each first-party studio from Sony will show a game at E3.

I can't wait to see The New York Time's extensive analysis of Littlebigplanet 3.

Yes. Obviously these unannounced Sony first-party titles are more important to the mainstream media than a new Mario Kart game.

They have to be, because they're being shown in a live broadcast and not a pre-recorded one.
