According to a source in Spain Sony Computer Entertainment’s vice president for Spain and Portugal, James Armstrong has confirmed that a new Starter Pack is due to go on sale on 31 January.

The Starter pack comes with 40GB console, two Sixaxis controllers and copies of:Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The Console comes at the estimated price of 499.99 euros which is alot more for your buck.

Great pack (IMO the two most amazing games currently available)! Some dealers have reduced the pricing of Resistance and Motorstorm.

Yes and no. Starter pack (60GB, 2 games and 2 controllers) was introduced last spring, same time with the NA bundle. When Starter Pack became the only option. When 40GB came out, the 60GB was discontinued, which of course means discontinuing the starter pack. But there were still some starter packs available in december, the ones that didn't sell earlier. So there have been starter pack earlier, but this isn't continuation to the previous one (since there aren't starter pack currently available), this is re-introducing the starter pack.
