Hmm, that could actually be quite possible. I'd prefer to see it at E3 though.

I'm hoping this will include some Vita advertisements as well? Being the official sponsor...and having a "brand", Sony could/should divy up the spotlight. Very exciting news regardless!
United Kingdom: 62,641,000
France: 65,436,552
Spain: 47,190,493
Germany: 81,726,000
Netherlands: 16,696,000
Italy: 60,770,000
Those are the populations of the most Soccer/Futbol crazed countries in Europe. Those countries all had teams in Champions League this year. It's also watched in many of the other European countries, since Futbol is huge in basically every country (Sweden, Norway, Austria, Denmark, Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Ukraine).
Europe Population > United States population
Not to mention, many in the USA will be watching Champions League Finals as well. In USA, ratings for Champions League Finals in 2012 were up %676 since 2002.

Champions League is also watched in other countries such as Japan, Turkey, and Brazil. It's a huge event. So Sony is doing a good job advertising PS4 here.

Why don't you look at the tv ratings for each final from last year for each country. Like, for example, the ratings for the final in the UK last year were 6.5 million, viewers. or in the United States it was watched by 2 million. You can't compare it by populations cause not everyone in all European countries watches football.
