Actually not. Most visual novels are on PS3/PSP/Vita.

Anyway, I love the new design. Shôko looks so... presidential! I hope that the gameplay is not too shabby though...

Eh, it was initially released in a compilation bundle with Crimson Shroud and 3 other border line games probably more suited for mobile release based on their content or the buzz their release seemed to build. Which is ironic as Liberation Maiden was later ported to the iOS just this year after its western release as a eShop title.

As a fan of the game, I am glad the franchise is continuing although the change to visual novel is a big let down, especially if the series being moved over to consoles (even as likely a PSN only title outside of Japan) given the new hardware with the console move.
