It's a good idea, actually. The sales could have been much better actually because of the novelty factor. However, Psallstars is great and fun as it is.

I did play it. And here's a picture proving my point its a Smash Bros clone.

A. I didn't say people don't care. I just don't feel they wanted a Smash Bros clone.

B. Playing a little different doesn't mean they flat out just clone Smash Bros. Look at the picture again. Is it not clear where they got most of their inspiration from?

Weren't you the one defending Tomb Raider being taken from Uncharted?

 

I don't see the problem with it being similar to Smash. The formula works, why not make one for Playstation.

That's the thing, who gets to decide whether it's a clone or not?

Some believe that Tomb Raider is an Uncharted clone. I don't but again who am I to decide.

I do think that All Stars is a lot more similar to Smash than Tomb Raider is to Uncharted, but I feel that it's mostly because I can't think of any other game that plays like Smash. All Stars is punished because it's the first big game that does the same genre.

I'm pretty sure that the second shooter (for example) ever made was accused of being a clone of the first one.

GOW:A MP > PSASBR ... Both are different, but I'm hooked to the former. I played the latter mainly because my friends entertained it, but I play the former alone, with friends, hungry, full, tired, energized or whatever state I am in.



 

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sure, why not!? But make it feel more like Powerstone 2 and let Capcom develop it.

Hahaha and put in the Powerstone characters too? But would that work with all the guns in all stars?
