This has been the longest gen in gaming without new hardware. We already have nintendo releasing the wii u.So who here is ready for next gen to really start with all of the big 3 consoles out? So which of the three next gen console are you most excited for? 

For me it would have to be ps4 right now since we don't really know anything about the durango. I'm not really sure about the wii u. It doesn't wow me, but doesn't seem that bad either. I'm just kind of indifferent towards it as of now.

I'm super pumped for PS4 and nextbox. I have a wii u but sadly it hasn't brought me that "feel" of a new gen. I've been eagerly wanting new hardware/magic since 2010. However move and kinect did actually do a good job at holding me over.

Some GOOD JRPGs (SE dragged the entire market down), and Metroid:not Other M.

Other than that I expect what I expected last gen. Shooters on Xbox, Mario on Tendo, Sony having all that delicious 3rd party Japanese stuff on consoles.

Idk how i feel, i think the wiiU is definitely the most interesting of the 3. The ps4 seems more like a ps3 1.5 then an actual next-gen system since it really doesn't do anything that hasn't already been done before on either live or PC's. And the 720 worries me with it's always-online rumors. We shall see, but i buy consoles because of games, and if the ps4 brings back crash bandicoot, i might have to get one>.>

I don't see the WiiU impressing me in any way, shape or form (but who knows it might). I will get one because I like Nintendo's games, but I expect the PS4 and Next X to give me what I expect from the next gen later.

I think we are more then due for new consoles though. I think it has been like 7 years.Each console gen seems to usually bring enhanced hardware anyways. I'm not really sure what you mean by not actual next gen. I consider next gen to mean a progression in hardware of the individual consoles. Ya I do agree on the xbox though with always online, but I'll reserve judgement until they officially annouce it.

In that case it's next-gen:P  But to me, next-gen is all about the games, and all about playing something that's revolutionary, like how mario 64 was for the n64, or how halo was for the xbox, or how mario galaxy was for the wii.  And I am not convinced the ps4 will make me go "WOW" like the previous generations did with their games.  The wiiu kinda already did that for me with ZombiU, but that was also a kind of incomplete game imho.

Ahh alright, I thought you meant like a new way to play games or something. I do agree with the games too. Every generation usually bring atleast one game that will be revolutionary, or maybe that is just my optimism at work.For me its how the game blows me away visually when I get a new system. Since that is the very first thing you see in a game before even playing it. It just makes you go wow, so this is what next gen brings to the table visually.You only experiance that feeling once evey couple years unless you're a pc gamer lol.
