I was really thinking about the Lauch, in the long run I think the PS4 will have 40% of the american next gen market and the Nextbox will have 60%, IF, the PS4 is awesome. If the Nextbox is better, Sony will be crushed.

I remember when Gamecube and X-Box launched within four days of one another, and both actually delayed slightly close to date to align like that (I want to say 15th and 18th). Might see that again, but same day would be surprising.

I remember the Wii and PS3 launching in the same week and people who were camped in their tents outside the store, stayed there if they missed the release of the earlier console release.

Still find it ridiculous to try and predict OR root for one side or another with virtually no finalized details on etiher launch date, price, lineup, ancillary costs (like Live or PSN + changes/fees, etc.), definitive launch lineups, controllers, etc. etc. Anything before then is mindless fanboyism, not rational decision-making.

It's all so pointless. Get back to me in August.
