Impressive, almost half a year and it is tracking a lot better. I wonder if it can track ahead for a full year then its predecessors.

I can't believe Mario Kart Wii is selling more than Mario Kart 7 in the US

Massive hw install base and lower pricepoint play in favor of the Wii version.
| Slimebeast said: So if the Wii U is selling around 40-45K per week with a poor launch lineup and we compare that with the sales back in spring 2007 when the PS3 sales were tanking at 65-80K per week (also on a poor launch lineup), we can arrive at a conclusion - the PS3 sales were 50% higher than the Wii U. If we project that number to potential yearly and lifetime sales, it suggests that the Wii U never will see yearly sales above 10 million or lifetime sales above 50 million (if lifetime is 6-7 years). And this projection even demands that the Wii U pulls off an equal turnaround in sales that the PS3 managed to do, which I personally don't think it will. |
I think it will, maybe not as much as PS3. I agree with everything else
Global up.
I just noticed that VGChartz is adding Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge sales to Ninja Gaiden 3 in the DB, counting them both as one game. (For example, #15 in the Japan chart):

Seems kind of a weird choice.
GT5 15,979!
Still tracking over 15k and seems undertracked since last year.
Hold up a second, I got some Wii U doom in my shoes.
Luigi's Mansion hits 1 million, nice.

Halo 4 :). Its price cut should keep legs good for a while.
Horizon/4 > GT5 :)
Added European SW numbers
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
