At the rate the PS3 is outselling the 360 it could just surpass it's total by October (if it doesn't by then it won't until early the following year). Of course, that's assuming that neither get revisions or price cuts.

Man I can't wait for the end of this year when all three consoles are going at it!

So... every consle is down more than 30 % from last year. That´s a little worrying.

We should take this into concern. Is that due to the ending run of consoles like Wii, PS3 and Xbox360 ( Though I still think that both PS3 and 360 still have some good commecial life ) ?

Or is it because of the direction the market seems to be taking, losing support from casuals ?

I´m worried that, after the unexpressive sales of new consoles like Vita and WiiU, both PS4 and NextXbox won´t be able to keep sales at the same level as this generation

I guess PS360Wii is losing sales just because they're old, like, very old in terms of consoles. So that's not so surprising. And I think the drop in Vita sales is because it was newly released last year, and still selling somwhat well I guess, so no real surprise there either. What IS worrying is the 3DS... There shouldn't be no reason why that's down YOY... We just got MH3U here in the West, and Luigi just got to the party...

im willing to bet on some undertracking for pretty much every console. dont know about the WiiU though, from just two games it stabilized like this?

It is mostly due to everything being heavily undertracked. All consoles will probably still be down from last year, but not by so much.
