Ni no Kuni is not an exclusive(and yes I have the PS3 version), FFX/X-2 are exclusive to Sony platforms but the games are not exclusive to the PS3. Those aside, I'm getting The Last of Us, Beyond 2 Souls, maybe the JRPGs down the road when they are in low low prices since my love for JRPG is fading these days due to them being generally horrible.

If you're talking about digital downloads of retail games, then you may be right.

But the difference is that all those Xbox exclusives are only available on XBL ;P

The Last Of US, Sly Cooper, GOW:A and Beyond: Two Souls. I have to wait until may though to start picking games up, working too hard at the moment.

I forgot about Ni no Kuni being on the DS cause it flopped in Japan and never made it stateside for that system

This list (which is - thankfully for me - very Japan-centric) plus multiple next gen multi-plats coming to PS3 as well, is why I don't think I'll be getting a PS4 this year.

I'd love one, but I'm still playing catch up on PS3 games and this year is looking really good too.

Is the DS version of Ni No Kuni even comparable to the PS3 version? Are the experiences even remotely similar? People keep bringing that up as a 'reason' for the lack of exclusivity.

Will definitely get The last of us, Tales of Xillia and Beyond. Might pick up Puppeteer, Disgaea and The Witch and The Hundred Knights.. Will have to see how the PS4 and Nextbox launch turns out first
