I was just going to post the same thing! So many liars on here lol. Or people just don't really know how tall they are.

This isn't uncommon, though. I run into a lot of guys that claim to be taller than they actually are. For some reason men feel they need to be 6 feet tall or they're going to be considered a midget.

I am being considered a midget by teammates who are all 6'1"-6'3", though lying about it is just stupid.

Avaerage based on global statistics means look at where people are from on the site.  My ancestory is part Danish and Dutch so tallest people in the world there. At 190cm I amthe runt of the males with a 192cm dad and 194cm brother.  Yet globally I am taller than 95% of men.  

Yes, but just as there are people like you from a taller nation, there are others from shorter nations. We should see similar statistics to a World average in the 5'8-5'10 range.

Not only do we not see that, but we see 33% above 6'. This is fairly astounding to me. India average height is 5'5 and that's 1.2 billion out of the 7 billion on the planet. Same story with china - between 5'5 and 5'7 for 1.3 billion people.

Denmark is nothing in comparison to these.

I agree. But this poll makes it seem as though 6' is average - is everyone from Denmark? Probably not. 

Probably the majority are from the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.

US - 5'9

Canada - 5'9

UK - 5'9-5'10

Australia - 5'9-5'10

That's my guess anyway.

To be fair Indian and Chinese VGC users are pretty rare.

That's my guess anyway. 

Let us look at the US (where I am from) depending on where you are the height makes  a huge difference.  Among other white (majority being of German or English descent) people growing up there were plenty of 6' tall men.  Now, I go play football with hispanics (mostly Mexican) and hardly ever see one over 5'9" with most being 5'5" roughly.  So, who plays video games and frequents video game forums?  The US has gotten "shorter" not because people are getting shorter than their parents, but due to immigration and birth rates in given populations.  Also, fact this is english site plays big role in who comes here as well.
