Wouldn't that be beyond two souls since it comes out near the release of the ps4. Anyways I don't think it should be for ps4, this is the ps3 last year and it needs to go out with a bang. Jusr give me whatever the other studio at nd is making for ps4.


Beyond: Two Souls is aimed for a niche audience, in comparison to TLOU.

 

I would definitively call TLOU the Swan song.

They probably have Uncharted 4 on the go for the PS4. The Last of Us would be to risky to release on a new platform, at least with Uncharted 4 they know it'll sell a lot of copies and consoles.

No. PS3 games are PS3 games... Sony will support both consoles for years yet.

ND is already working in Uncharted 4 for PS4 (E3 reveal).

Then the sales would be stuck at a low number like Gravity Rush along with all the other games until the Vita has a worldwide price cut.

maybe it could've been released on Vita,PS3 AND PS4

 

I feel like it would get more attention if it was also going to be released on PS4

The question can be answered from 2 different perspectives: Whats best for Sony vs. whats best for the gamers.

If we're talking in terms of Sony's benefit, then I say 100% yes. I feel like it was a major missed opportunity to attract a bunch of ppl to the ps4. Many ppl want TLoU - even many ppl who had no interest in the Uncharteds - bc it is the first time ND has done a game like this. PS3 didn't need any more help - ps4 is the one that has to convince ppl it's worth a purchase.

I'd love to be able to play TLoU asap, but I also like Sony, so Id still rather them just put it on ps4 for their sake. There's a reason why no one starts new franchises at the end of a generation. Yes, ND said they were creating and ending TLoU like it wasnt going to have a sequel; but lets face it, they've spent an incredible amount of time on TLoU, creating a world and characters they love. PLUS, its going to sell well. A sequel will be made, 10:1 odds)

No, this is the last major exclusive for PS3. Naughty Dog probably have something else planned for PS4 already

TLoU would have made an excellent launch title. I fresh new IP on a fresh new system. Maybe they have something else for PS4?

I think they should have. It would have been an amazing launch game for the PS4 and I think it looks much better than the games so far announced as PS4 launch games.
