Im agaisnt this, i´ve many games wich are 2nd handed and also i go into holidays or see some friends sometimes and i dont haved Internet Conection there and sometimes it goes down!


My god they have not even announced anything and you want to petition them already? Between this and the constant zelotry toward the PS4 praising it as the greatest thing ever this site has really just lost it. 

If these rumours do turn out to be true, a "petition" is not the way to go about showing your displeasure, IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT DO NOT BUT IT. You have no right to play a game system made by someone else and they are under no obligation to change it to fit your desires (If they wish to do so in order to cultivate more customers that is their choice, but they have no obligation or responsibility ) It makes me sick how entitled everyone is these days.

Excitement? not at all, but the belief that it is somehow sure to be the top of next gen based on one showcasing, and when one of their main competitors has not even released any info is ridiculous. Somehow it seems that this site has just completley lost any facade it may have had of being un biased, it appears  that a majority of users here just dislike Microsoft. This  is all coming from a "Nintendo Fanboy" who thinks the Wii U will be in last place this Gen. I really do not know which console I will be buying next (I already have a Wii U) but all of this doom talk about an XBox that hasnt been announced and all of this praising for a PS4 that has not been released is just folly.

i dont really know what you mean with this "doom" talk for 720 but if you are talking about the recent always online rumor then you cant really get mad at that. that sh!t needed to be nipped in the bud right then and there

 

and from what we know, the PS4 DOES look like its going to dominate for the most part. but you're correct about the not knowing everything about 720 since it hasn't been announced yet

 

and there is nothing wrong with praise for the PS4. The devs praised it so why cant Sony fans do it? and the praise is for good reason. The price is the thing that will officially set it all in stone though

I see... But the policy seems to work by getting people used to an idea so it seems normal. Just like paying to play is not "normal" in the business unless you are a 360 only player. They could easily implement this with the idea that the majority would except it and eventually come to think of it as normal. I hope your right though of course.

The always online thing is not true so no need to get all worried.

Microsoft will not make such a blunder.

MS has sold 42m Xbox 360s in the US.

21m of those have been online with Gold or Silver accounts.

10.5 of those are rural and have unreliable internet.

 

MS would never limit their biggest and most loyal market to a maximum of 10.5 million units sold. Nope, not going to happen. They would get no 3rd party support and no retail suport. MS knows that requiring online just isn't ready for prime time. The tech is there and I'm sure the PS4 has the same tech in place, but niether is going fire the first shot for a long time.

We either say now or just don't buy it when it comes out. Either way, Microsoft loses. But, we can't allow companies to force us to do stuff that restricts our rights. It's our choice if we want to game offline, not theirs. The same logic applies to 2nd hand games, it's our choice. Hopefully, this rumour is just hot air and never appears
