who is surfer girl?

There seems to be a halo (not a reference to the game) effect that follows most PS3 games before they release these days. I'm trying to think of a PS3 exclusive that fanboys weren't running around and saying it would be GOTY before it even released. With the exception of Lair, many of those games turned out to just be good games, but nothing on the level that people hype them to be. The hype surrounding most games out paces what they deliver. Killzone was a decent game on the PS2, but nothing spectacular. It is a pretty good bet that what KZ2 delivers isn't going to touch it's hype. It might be a good game (or it could also suck), but seriously, some people need to stop latching onto every PS3 release like it is potential second coming of Christ.
