I keep getting the feeling that this is all just a joke. But who knows.

I hope.  Ill buy it anyways and it is one of my most hyped games and I trust Kojima but -_-  He better be pulling our leg

Anyway, regarding my posts, kojima is a troll. You don't know it, but this is a joke thread just out of principle. That's how it is. So I made a joke. No need to spazz out.

If you don't see content in this post, it's that this is obviously just troll by kojima. They never even called him? Hayter, who is like bffs with kojima, was never even called? I'd continue this point, but I'm still shocked that you believe this...

EDIT: Even phantom pain refers to the pain of something that's missing. It's likely not even a real game. Our current information on it? It's made by Moby Dick, a fake studio, Joakim Mogren, a fake developer, using fake people in interviews. All we really know is that mgs5 is being made, everything else has been a silkscreen so far. Names, titles, people, boardrooms, horses. It's all been shadowpuppetry.

None of this is even about exclusive rights.  They have also been multiplatform for a a few years now including Metal Gear Rising and the HD collection.  

This is about the voice actor and nothing more.  I could care less if it is exclusive or multiplatform.  Ill get it either way.

Im not trying to have the last word.  Right now you are just confusing me.  It is well known that Kojima plays jokes.  So you are saying MGS5 doesnt exist now?  And the Fox Engine, Phantom Pains, GZ is all a big joke?  What are you trying to say exactly?  Explain better.

lolwut. Haven't they changed too much for people? It seems that everyone wants them to go back to an older style rather than continue to change and innovate with each new entry in the series.

That is a very good point.

It's not a deal breaker for me, but I am very dissapointed about this. I have felt that Hayter's voice has become more and more strained as each game has come out. It's not his natural voice, he has to force his throat to do it. Maybe Konami thinks he doesn't sound right anymore. I don't know. But, for me, so long as Hayter can do it I'd prefer him over anyone else.

I speak rationally during civil discussion, which this is not. You make me uncomfortable. Not in the sense that I'm feeling attacked or anything, but in the sense that just by saying "it doesn't exist", you explode with assumptions, which isn't something I would find comfortable discussion.

But, to indulge your question, it is very likely that phantom pain is not a game. I'm not talking about the concept of mgs5, I'm not talking about the fox engine, I'm not talking about ground zeros. None of those things ever entered the discussion. We're talking specifically the version of the game known as phantom pain.
